UCSF Police Department Town Hall: The UCSF Police Department is hosting a Town Hall on September 5 at Genentech Hall at UCSF Mission Bay to review the most recent annual AB 481 report. California Assembly Bill 481 requires California law enforcement agencies to obtain approval of a Military Equipment Use Policy by their applicable governing body prior to taking certain actions related to the funding, acquisition or use of military equipment as defined by the legislature. Register here »

Faculty Development Day is Coming: Faculty are encouraged to mark their calendars for September 20 for an in-person event to introduce faculty, meet colleagues and learn about resources from more than 40 campus units that will help them in their work at UCSF. Flu Shots Available Soon: UCSF Occupational Health Services' annual flu vaccinations for faculty, staff, students and volunteers begin September 6. New UC Retirement Savings Program Roth Option: The University of California has enhanced the UC Retirement Savings Program with a new Roth contribution option for the UC 403(b) and UC 457(b) Plans, giving you more flexibility to save and plan for your future through regular pretax contributions, new Roth contributions or both. After-Hours Mental Health Support Expanded: The Faculty and Student Assistance Program (FSAP) is now offering mental health support services outside of standard business hours. UCSF employees may access the extended after-hours service by calling the FSAP main telephone line at (415) 476-8279 and following the prompts. FSAP’s standard business hours are Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and remain unchanged for non-emergency mental health support and appointment requests »
